Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. She was the daughter of Sergey (d. 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. The 12 WTA singles titles include the Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is an additional area in which she is a pro. The US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both won with Elise Mertens. With her fellow Belgian tennis champion, the Belgian also won the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in the year 2019, making the Sunshine Double. The women's doubles had only four couples win this title. There were only four couples who achieved this feat when playing women's doubles. She rose up to the top of the rankings for doubles the next year after taking the title at Melbourne. This made her the second Belarusian tennis player to achieve success in the field. Her coach was the former Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the conclusion of the season in 2019 and partially at the start of 2020. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann from August to September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach who has been with her since the start of 2020. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her idols.
